Lowell is refurbishing its downtown to reflect the better times of its mercantile youth. La Boniche is a prime example of successful renovation and interior design. The restaurant aptly dubs its cuisine as "simple dining with a French accent." Our faves: Balsamic Roasted Chicken, Sherried Roast Duckling, and Stuffed Pork Medallions. Desserts are one part delight, two parts decadent.
