This 45-acre botanical garden contains 1600 kinds of wildflowers, shrubs, and trees, and 200 rare or endangered native plants, the New England Garden of Rare and Endangered Plants, and the Garden in the Woods Nursery and Museum Shop. April 26: "Understanding Botanical and Horticultural Names" at 6:30 p.m. $28. April 28: "Color in the Shade Garden" lecture at 2 p.m. $15.
