Web site of the week

www.rockrgrl.com

Massachusetts native Carla DeSantis's Rockrgrl Magazine has come a long way since 1994, when it recruited writers through AOL's bulletin boards. Now distributed worldwide, the internet site contains information on the current issue (to read it, you'll have to subscribe), "Grapevine" (news updates), "Girl Talk" (a discussion board for musicians, fans, and the music industry), and links to the Web sites of musicians featured in Rockrgrl. You go, girl. This woman went and did it on her own!
