Web site of the week

www.gungho2000.com

Punk poetess laureate Patti Smith takes to the Internet to promote her new CD, Gung Ho. The site includes lyrics, quotes from Smith, and the story behind "One Voice," her tribute to Tibetan nun Phunt Sok Nyidrou. Nyidrou was arrested for fighting for independence for her homeland and had her imprisonment extended for singing pro-independence songs in jail. People still have the power!
