Where the Boynton shines is with good basic food with none of the frills. This is family fare at family prices, like meatloaf dinner for $5.29 and burgers prepared a half-dozen ways. Spend a few bucks more and the options open, like the chicken piccata or the broiled scrod. The more up-scale the Boynton tries to cook, however, the less success it seems to have, so start with the basics.
